When the Oakland Raiders drafted Michael Bush in 2007 they felt as if they had stolen a player with first-round talent in the fourth round because of a broken leg that ruined his senior season. Now they are trying to turn that talented runner into a blocking fullback in a move that has not been embraced by Bush. "I'm not a fullback. I think it's a waste of my talent," he said. "I'm not trying to be any negative person that doesn't want to help the team. I'm doing it so they can't say I'm not helping this team. What can you say?" Bush has been practicing at fullback this week, and said he didn't even touch the ball once during an entire practice. But with Oakland's top two fullbacks down with season-ending knee injuries, interim coach Tom Cable sees an opportunity for Bush.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Thursday that one of the reasons he is willing to take another chance on Adam 'Pacman' Jones is because he feels partly to blame for the cornerback's latest trouble.

Bengals WR Glenn Holt will start Week 12 at Pittsburgh in place of Chad Johnson, who the team deactivated for violating team rules.

The Bengals listed QB Carson Palmer among their inactives for Week 12 at Pittsburgh with the same right elbow injury that has sidelined him since Week 6.

Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, listed on the practice report all week with a back issue, is active for Week 12 at Pittsburgh. He's coming off a 12-catch, 149-yard effort with a touchdown Week 11 against the Eagles.

As expected, the Bengals listed WR Chad Johnson as inactive for Week 12 at Pittsburgh because he violated a team rule. According to the NFL Network, he got into a fight with a team official. Glenn Holt will started in his place.
